Angela Neutts, age 89, formerly of Farview Street, Carbondale, died Wednesday evening, February 5, 2003 at the Forest City Nursing Home, Forest City, PA. She was the widow of Milo Neutts, who died in 1956.
Born May 5, 1913 in Carbondale, PA. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Rachael (Bonacci) Delfino.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Carbondale. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a seamstress in the garment industry. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.
She was a loving homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is survived by one daughter: Ann Marie (Neutts) Sampson of Roseland, NJ.; one son: Miles Neutts of Greenfield Township, PA.; one sister: Fay Kandrot of Carbondale, PA.; two brothers: Michael Delfino and Anthony (Duff) Delfino both of Carbondale, PA.; 3 Grandchildren; 2 Great Granddaughters; Several Nieces Nephews
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Edith Baldino Bomba and Mary Calabro
The funeral was held Saturday, February 8, 2003, at 9:00 am from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in Our Lady Of Mount Carmel Church, 15 Fallbrook Street, Carbondale, celebrated by Rev. Russell Motsay, pastor. Interment, Our Mother Of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township
Pallbearers: Wallace Sampson, Russell Sampson, Joseph Kandrot, Jasper DeFazio, Jerry Arnese, Jr. and Dr. Joseph Calabro
A viewing was held Friday, February 7, 2003, from 2-4 and 7-9.
