Obituary

Angela R. Lapera, age 91, of Carbondale, PA., died early Wednesday morning, June 22, 2005. She was the wife of the late Dominic Lapera, Sr., who died March 2, 2003. Born June 1, 1914 in Carbondale, PA. She was the daughter of the late James, Sr. and Theresa (Lovito) Petruzella. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Carbondale. She is survived by two daughters: Rita M. Flederbach of Trooper, PA., with whom she resided with since November and Deborah husband Greg Jaskot of Eagleville, PA.; one son: Joseph wife Anita Lapera of Lake Villa, IL.; two sisters: Margaret Umholtz of Salem, NH. and Evelyn Pettinato of Newton Lake, PA.; one brother: John Petruzella of Berwick, PA.; five grandsons: Jerry Flederbach, Jr., Greg Jaskot, Jr., Matt Jaskot, Joseph Lapera, Jr. and Anthony Lapera; three granddaughters: Susan Neilson, Wendy Marcolino and Nancy Cerra; 7 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces Nephews She was preceded in death by one son: Dominic Lapera, Jr.; one daughter-in-Law: Jacqueline Lapera and two granddaughters: Joyce and Elizabeth Lapera; one sister: Jeanette Coggins; one brother: James Petruzella, Jr. The funeral was held Saturday, June 25, 2005 at 9:30 am from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview 41st Streets, Carbondale, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 15 Fallbrook Street, Carbondale, celebrated by Rev. Russell Motsay, pastor. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA. Friends called Friday, June 24, 2005 from 2-4 7-9 PM. Pallbearers: Jerry Flederbach, Jr., Greg Jaskot, Jr., Matt Jaskot, Tony Lapera, Joe Lapera and Joe Masco.
