Angel L. Valdivieso, Jr., 65, of Carbondale, PA, died Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA. Born June 29, 1956 in New York, NY, he was the son of the late Angel L. Valdivieso, Sr. and Anna Marie Oritz Fernandez. Angel was a huge 49ers fan and was a loving companion, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He is survived by his longtime companion: Andrea Houdershieldt of Carbondale, PA; two daughters: Leticia Valdivieso and Erica Valdivieso; several grandchildren; four siblings: Iris Valdivieso, Pauline Rubiani, Jennie Valdivieso and Joe Valdivieso; father: Edward Fernandez; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his son: Angel L. Valdivieso, III. A blessing service was held Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. from the Carmine J. & Louis C.
