Andrew Perechinsky, 82, of Greenfield Township, PA, died peacefully on Friday evening, August 11, 2023 at his home. He is survived by his wife, the former Sally Mulrooney. They were married on September 2, 1961.

Born and raised in Winton, PA, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary Yurkanin Perechinsky.

Andy was a graduate of Jessup High School and attended the University of Scranton, where he met Sally. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed by the Wallace Murray Company and later the Elliott Corporation in Scranton, PA. He and his wife operated Lost Continent Ceramics for over 30 years. They shared a love of making and selling their products at flea markets, craft shows and their annual holiday kiosk at the Viewmont Mall. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Andy's favorite spot was sitting on the porch of the home he built in the country where he enjoyed all of nature's beauty.

He is also survived by two sons: Michael Perechinsky and companion, Patti Ann Vetrini of Greenfield Township, PA and Mayfield Police Chief Joseph Perechinsky and wife, Faye of Mayfield, PA; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church, 704 Montdale Road, Scott Township, PA, celebrated by the Rev. Michael J. Kirwin, pastor. Friends called Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at the church.
