Andrea V. (Talnogi) Malinchak, 74, of Greenfield Township, PA, died Friday, September 9, 2016 at the Forest City Nursing Home, Forest City, PA. Born May 23, 1942 in Peckville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Sophie Promovitz Talnogi. Andrea was a graduate of St. Mary's Catholic High School, Dickson City, PA and worked at Sandvik Steel, Dempsey's Uniform and Linen Supply and retired from the Gentex Corporation. She enjoyed living with her daughter in Arizona for two years and loved lottery tickets and trips to the casino. She is survived by a daughter: Kathy Malinchak and companion Leo Laourdakis of Carbondale, PA; a son: Robert Malinchak of Carbondale, PA; a granddaughter: Natalie Angelica Giovannari of Carbondale, PA; two sisters: Rosemary Davitt of Dickson City, PA and Teresa Armen of Scranton, PA As per Andrea's wishes, she was cremated and a memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at a future date. Cremation arrangements were under the care of the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
