Andja Velikic age 62, of RR 1 Box 1162, Nicholson and formerly of Queens, New York died Friday evening, July 19, 2002 at Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale. She was the widow of Danny Velikic who died November 1, 1988. Born December 20, 1939 in Yugoslavia. She was the daughter of the late Petko and Ruza (Markovic) Lazarevic. She is survived by one daughter: Slovodanka Velikic of Nicholson, PA.; two sons: Ljubisa Strainovic and Vladimir Velikic both of Queens, NY.; two sisters: Monica James of Susquehanna, PA. and Ikonija Avramovic of Queens, NY.; one brother: Stanimir Lazarivic of Queens, NY.; 6 Grandchildren; Several Nieces Nephews She was preceded in death by one brother: Vidoje Lazarevic The funeral was held Tuesday, July 23, 2002 at 10:00 am from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff Main Streets, Clifford, with services by the Very Rev. Filip Zelisavljevic of Holy Resurrection of Christ Church, Lebanon. Interment, Willow View Cemetery, Clifford. Viewing was held Monday, July 22, 2002 from 6-9.
