Alvin C. Seamans, Jr., 61, of Clifford Township, PA, died Friday morning, March 27, 2015 at home. His wife of 42 years is the former Sandra J. Franklin. Born in Waverly, NY, he is the son of Alvin C. Seamans, Sr. of Montrose, PA and the late Beverly Pier Seamans. Alvin was a graduate of the Blue Ridge High School in New Milford, PA. For many years, Alvin operated a dairy farm and currently he and his family conduct a stone quarry business on their property. Alvin will always be remembered as a hard working husband and father who devoted many hours of hard farm and quarry work to provide for his family. His strong work ethic is passed down to his two sons whom he was honored to work with on a daily basis. He is survived by two sons: Josh Seamans and Clyde Seamans and wife Cathy all of Clifford Township, PA; three grandsons: Jason, Caleb and Benjamin Seamans; three sisters: Marge, Doris, and Christie; a brother: Raymond; several nieces and nephews. As per Alvin's request he was cremated and no services were held. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
