Allen H Appleton Sr. age 83, passed away on Saturday September 10, 2022 surrounded by his family. Allen was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and was a long-time resident of Feasterville, before moving to Nicholson, PA Allen loved working in his woodshop, building furniture and tinkering with anything that moved. He was always willing to help people when they needed. He always had a smile on his face and loved telling stories about the past. He had a sense of humor like no other, always making people laugh until the very end. Allen was the son of the late Emma (Dost) and Howard Appleton. He was predeceased by his wife of 47 years, Elsie (Pyfer), son Allen H Appleton JR, and His brother Bruce Appleton. He is survived by his sons John Appleton (Francine), Kevin Appleton (Lisa), Brian Appleton (Beverly), Scott Appleton (Lisa), daughter Amy Thomas (Mike). In addition to his children, he is survived 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. Family and friends will be received at the James O. Bradley Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Bellevue Ave., Penndel, PA 19047 on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm with a funeral service to be held at 6:30 pm. His interment will take place at a later date. Local arrangements were entrusted to Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
