Alexander "Randy" Tomain, 52, of Carbondale, PA, died Saturday, October 15, 2022 at home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born November 14, 1969 in Scranton, PA, he is the son of Ellen Moylan Tomain of Roach, MO, and the late Dennis E. Tomain.

Randy had been a self-employed mason and was a member of the Moxie Club in Carbondale. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, riding motorcycles on the open road and riding his trike up to the dam. Randy was an avid New York Yankees and Miami Dolphins fan.

He is survived by his wife: Colleen Hobbs Tomain of Carbondale, PA; a son: Alexander Anthony "R.J." Tomain of Carbondale, PA; a daughter: Sophia Marie Tomain and companion, Ashtin Beader of Carbondale, PA; two brothers: Dennis Tomain of Missouri and Anthony Tomain of Warrenville, IL; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was also preceded in death by his three-year old brother: Jason Tomain.

The funeral was held Monday, October 24, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. from the Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview Street, Carbondale, PA.
