Albert F. DeLisa, 81, of Gibson Township, PA, died Friday, September 27, 2024 at home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by the love of his life and faithful wife Kim DeLisa. They were married January 1, 2000.

Born April 15, 1943 in Binghamton, NY, he was the son of the late Alphonse and Frances Ann Kavetski DeLisa.

Al was a 1961 graduate of Mountain View High School and was the proud owner and operator of Al DeLisa Excavating in New Milford. He was a faithful member of the South New Milford Baptist Church.

He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing, especially bass fishing. He has a trophy room of deer, caribou, bear from Canada and moose from his Alaska trip at his home. He enjoyed the trips to the Midwest working with outfitters and cooking for the group as well as hunting. He was kind, generous and enjoyed teaching life lessons and excavation to those willing to listen. He enjoyed cooking, baking sourdough bread and spending time with his wife at their home and on their boat. They also enjoyed vacationing on the One Happy Island of Aruba.

He is also survived by four children: Lori and Michael DeLisa, Donna Marie Rowe and companion, Eric Oliver and Karen Marie Stone and husband, Roger; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother: Joseph DeLisa and wife, Donna and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral was held Friday, October 4, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the South New Milford Baptist Church, 2967 Harford Road, New Milford, PA, with Pastor Ray Mitchell, officiating. Private interment will follow at the Gibson Cemetery, Gibson, PA.

Friends called Friday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the church.

Arrangements were are under the care of the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
