Agnes Irene Ransom, age 90, of Lenoxville, PA, died Sunday evening, January 11, 2009 at the Meadowville Senior Center, Montrose, PA. She was the wife of the late Robert R. Ransom who died February 3, 1993. Born January 3, 1919 in Lenoxville, PA., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mina (Decker) Becker.She was a graduate of Nicholson High School and worked along side her husband on the family farm in Lenoxville. She was also an avid reader. She is survived by one daughter: Irene Sechrist and husband Ken of Lenoxville, PA.; three sons: Robert C. Ransom, Donald Ransom and wife Carolyn and James Ransom and wife Ann, all of Lenoxville, PA.; fifteen grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren; several nieces nephews.She was preceded in death by one son: John Ransom; one sister: Mildred Becker.As per her request, cremation took place from Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA. Arrangements were entrusted to the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home Cremation Services, Dundaff Main Streets, Clifford, PA.
