Adeline H. Bishop, age 84, a resident of the Ellen Memorial Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, Honesdale, PA, died Saturday evening, April 19, 2014 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. Born September 15, 1929 in Honesdale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Catherine (Hiller) Bishop. Adeline worked on the family farm in Honesdale for many years and enjoyed sewing, playing bingo, doing puzzles and watching baseball games. She is survived by four sisters: Virginia Potter of Honesdale, PA, Arlene Rose of Beach Lake, PA, Gertrude Loring of Florida and Wansley White of Waymart, PA; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Harland and William Bishop; two sisters: Rose Schuman and Almeda Augello. As per her request, she was cremated and inurnment took place in Indian Orchard Cemetery, Honesdale. Cremation arrangements are under the care of the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
