Theodore E. Mills, Sr., 70, of Clifford Township, PA., died suddenly Monday, November 29, 2010 upon arrival at St. Joseph's Hospital, Paterson, NJ. He was the husband of the former Nancy Dixon. They were married July 18, 1959. Born April 11, 1940 in Hallstead, PA., he was the son of the late Clinton and Beulah (Kelly) Mills. He was the owner of M M Roofing, a family business he operated with his sons. He attended services at the Lake Idlewild Evangelical Wesleyan Church and was a former 32nd degree Mason with the Nicholson Lodge. He enjoyed NASCAR and stock car racing as well as restoring old cars. His family was his life and he was very supportive of them and their interests. He was a very generous person and would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He is survived by two sons: Ted Mills and wife Michelle of Clifford Township, PA. and Travis Mills and wife Kim of Clifford Township, PA.; four daughters: Cheryl Carpenter of Clifford Township, PA., Linda Keller of Lenoxville, PA., Dawn Mills of Clifford Township, PA. and Tanya Kelley and husband Donald of Lenoxville, PA.; 14 grandchildren: Billy Joe, Brandon and Kurtis Razderk, Billy Conklin, Jr., Ryan, Sharesse and Taylor Conklin, Ted Mills, III., Trevor and Kyla Mills, Dylon Carpenter, Donnie Kelley, Naoma Howard and Nicole Snedeker; 5 great grandchildren: Araceli Ward, Ryan Conklin, Deanna, Marissa and Noah Snedeker; two sisters: Betty Case and Sandra Peters both of Greenfield Township, PA., one brother: Clinton Mills of Georgia; one step brother: Ronald Conklin of Lake Winola, PA; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter: Melissa The funeral was held Friday, December 3, 2010 at 12:00 PM from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, PA., with Rev. Michael Hagermier of the Lake Idlewild Evangelical Wesleyan Church, and Rev. David Sarber, officiating. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park, Scott Township, PA. Honorary Pallbearers: Dylon Carpenter, Victor Ceria and Donald Kelley. Pallbearers: Ted Mills, III., Trevor Mills, Ryan Conklin, Billy Conklin, Jr., Ricky White, Billy Jo Razderk, Brandon Razderk and Clinton Mills. Friends called Thursday, December 2, 2010 from 2-4 6-9 PM.
